What I treat
The exam defines the treatment, not a package. Before any injection, we find out where the problem comes from.
Enlarged veins that stand out and feel heavy by the end of the day. The size and path of each one completely change the treatment.
Those fine red or purple webs on the thighs and knees. Treated in sessions, respecting your skin tone.
Tiredness, cramps and legs that swell in the afternoon. An old symptom is not just aging: it is a sign worth investigating.
My own method: foam applied with a fine needle, straight into the diseased vein, with no operating room and no hospital stay.
Carvalho Precision Foam®
The method was born from thousands of treated legs: the foam goes in through a fine needle and closes the diseased vein, while you stay awake, with no operating room.
I listen to your story, examine your legs carefully and identify which veins drive the problem. Only then do we talk about treatment.
Everything happens at the office, with no general anesthesia and no hospital stay. When it is done, you get up and go back to your routine.
Every leg responds at its own pace, and that sets the number of sessions. At each follow-up you know exactly where you stand.
Results vary with each case, the stage of the veins and how each body responds. Nothing on this page replaces an in-person medical assessment.
About
I am Dr. Jonatas Carvalho, a physician registered under CRM-PR 56525 and dedicated to treating varicose and spider veins. I created the Carvalho Precision Foam®, my way of applying foam with precision, and I have cared for more than 15,000 patients.
Most people who reach me spent years hearing it was just cosmetic, just age, just normal. They kept living with pain, heaviness and the embarrassment of showing their legs. My work starts by undoing that knot: understanding what your circulation is saying and explaining, without jargon, what can be done.

It is Dr. Jonatas’ own foam sclerotherapy method: the foam is injected through a fine needle into the diseased vein, which closes over time. The procedure happens at the office, with no cuts, no general anesthesia and no hospital stay.
It uses fine needles and most patients describe only mild, brief discomfort. There is no general anesthesia: you stay awake, can talk during the session and return to your routine the same day. Sensitivity varies from person to person.
It depends on the stage of your veins and how your body responds. The number is estimated at the first assessment and adjusted at each follow-up, case by case. There is no fixed package: the exam defines the treatment.
Not necessarily. Many cases of spider veins, micro varicose veins and even larger varicose veins can be treated without a scalpel, using foam. A clinical assessment, with ultrasound when indicated, shows the best path for your case.
